Will my information be kept confidential?

Absolutely!  Trust and safety are essential in counseling and I will do everything in my power to maintain your confidentiality.  Occasionally therapists are mandated by law to break confidentiality, but this is rare.  I will give you a printout of the exceptions to confidentiality and answer any questions you have about them. 

In order to provide the highest possible care for my clients, I frequently consult with other therapists.  On such occasions no personal identifiable information about my clients are given to the therapist(s) I consult with.
